About Queen Shirin
Queen Shirin is digital media connoisseur with a drive for storytelling through content that is informative and empowering, and a passion for all things beauty, fashion, and luxury lifestyle.
Whether it was for photography or film, a camera could be found in her hands since childhood. She was taking selfies and being an influencer before those were even officially words as we know them today.
Shirin grew up playing sports like soccer, dance, tennis, and archery, and went on to join the Track & Field team with a placement in 400mm Sprints in high school. She honestly wanted to join the Football team, but girls were not allowed. She tried out for shotput, discus, and javelin. In fact, she would’ve also loved to been on the Varsity Soccer team, but somehow ended up running circles around the exact sort of sports stadiums she ended up working in, ironically. This is also a good time to mention that Shirin loves F1 and watching motorsports.
In 2016, Shirin received her B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Screenwriting and minor in Business Management from California State University, Northridge. While Shirin was a student, she worked on campus at the University Student Union as an Event Planner for events like CARNAVAL, an all-day multicultural event to celebrate international culture, cuisine, art, music, and more, and assisted the CSUN A.S. partners to help promote CSUN’s Big Show featuring Afrojack.
Shirin’s first official job after college was working with Insomniac Events as a Ground Control Responder Team Lead, where she oversaw safety of 400,000+ patrons by supporting Health & Safety with medical issues, and worked directly with local Law Enforcement teams to ensure attendees were safe, happy, healthy, and hydrated at Electric Daisy Carnaval Las Vegas in 2016. She then went on to work in Customer Experience and Ticketing at smaller shows like Bassrush events at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino and Countdown NYE in Downtown Los Angeles.
After that, Shirin worked a plethora of jobs in entertainment at AwesomenessTV and with their partners. The coolest true story she now gets to say from those work experiences is that she accidentally hung up the phone on Kate Hudson.
Since 2024, Shirin has been pursuing her M.S. in Digital Media Management from University of Southern California.
In 2025, Shirin kickstarted the next chapter at Miami-Dade College to obtain an A.S. in Sports Management.
Upon graduation, Shirin aspires to obtain her Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from University of Miami.
Shirin’s four year goal is to buy the Miami Dolphins by 2030. On a good day, Shirin is usually training at a boxing gym and eating a protein bar and wellness supplement-packed smoothie with her nails, hair, and makeup done, and dressed in clothes that make her feel happy.
